The Trip

WE ARE GOING TO DIVE INTO THE HEART OF AFRICA — A LAND WHERE NATURE RULES, WILDLIFE IS EXPRESSED IN ITS PUREST FORM, AND EVERY LANDSCAPE LOOKS LIKE IT WAS TAKEN FROM A DOCUMENTARY. THIS JOURNEY IS FAR MORE THAN A TRIP: IT IS AN ADVENTURE THAT COMBINES THE VASTNESS OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENT, THE PULSE OF THE EARTH, AND THE THRILL OF A UNIQUE SPORTING CHALLENGE.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Tanzania

22/08

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), starting point of our adventure. Private transfer to Arusha, base city of northern Tanzania. Day designed to rest, adapt to the African environment and begin to feel the pulse of the journey. Night in Arusha

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

23/08

We begin our safari adventure in Tarangire National Park, one of the most authentic and least crowded parks in northern Tanzania. Famous for its ancient baobabs and for hosting some of the largest elephant concentrations in the country, Tarangire offers us an impressive first immersion in African wildlife. We will tour the park in 4x4 vehicles, crossing open savannas and riverbanks where it is common to observe giraffes, zebras, antelopes and a great variety of birds. A perfect start to connect with the rhythm and magnitude of Africa.

Day 3

The Serengeti

24/08

We venture into the legendary Serengeti, one of the most impressive ecosystems on the planet and absolute symbol of African wildlife. Its endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see and are the stage for one of the world's greatest natural spectacles: the Great Migration. For two full days we will explore different areas of the park, following the movements of wildlife and witnessing scenes of wildlife in its purest state. Lions, cheetahs, wildebeests and large herds coexist in this wild and overwhelming environment.

Day 4

The Serengeti - Part 2

25/08

After enjoying a peaceful breakfast we will continue exploring this natural paradise.

Day 5

The Ngorongoro Crater

26/08

Our safari reaches its climax at the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of Africa's greatest natural wonders. We descend into the interior of this enormous volcanic caldera, home to one of the largest concentrations of wildlife on the continent. Here we will have the opportunity to observe the Big Five up close in a spectacular environment, where green landscapes, lagoons and wildlife coexist in perfect harmony. An intense and memorable experience that closes the safari in style before returning to Arusha. Night in Arusha

Day 6

At the foot of the giant

27/08

After breakfast, we make a transfer of approximately 1 hour to Simba Farm, the heart of the event and our home during the race days. Surrounded by nature and with open views of the African environment, we settle into premium tents or the few available rooms. The afternoon is designed for a first contact with the terrain, walk around, loosen legs and begin to soak up the atmosphere that exists before a great race. Night at Simba Farm Lodge

Day 7

Ready, set...

28/08

Day before the race. The goal is clear: rest, hydrate and focus. We will make optional short walks, equipment review and a technical briefing where routes, logistics and final details will be reviewed. The atmosphere begins to charge with energy and expectation. It is time to align body and mind before the great challenge that awaits us. Night at Simba Farm Lodge

Day 8

Kilimanjaro Trail Run

29/08

Race day. The distances of 50 km, 65 km and 75 km are disputed, touring a spectacular natural environment, with views of Kilimanjaro and African landscapes that make this test a truly unique experience. An intense, exciting and transformative day, where each runner will live their own challenge in one of the most impressive settings on the African continent. After the race, time for recovery, rest and sharing the first sensations. Night at Simba Farm Lodge

Day 9

Kilimanjaro Trail Run - Half Marathon

30/08

Last day of competition, with the half marathon, and day of accompaniment and celebration for the whole group. A day to enjoy the atmosphere, support the runners and close the experience sharing stories, emotions and memories. The best way to say goodbye to an unforgettable sporting and human adventure.
