The Trip

Step into one of the most extraordinary landscapes on Earth, where ancient history, rugged mountains and unforgettable adventures come together in a single journey. Our base will be the beautiful Gubeikou Water Town, a traditional village nestled beneath the Great Wall, where stone streets, lantern-lit canals and centuries of history create a truly unique atmosphere. From here we'll explore some of the most spectacular sections of the Great Wall and discover a side of China that few international travelers ever experience. One of the highlights will be an unforgettable night excursion to Simatai, the only section of the Great Wall illuminated after dark. Walking along this ancient fortress under the stars feels almost unreal. The goal of the trip is, of course, the Pan Long Trail. Following historic paths and legendary sections of the Great Wall, runners will take on a course that combines physical challenge, stunning scenery and deep cultural significance. Beyond the race, this experience is about connection: with an ancient culture, with nature, with fellow adventurers and with yourself. Are you ready to become part of the legend?

Frequently asked questions

DO I NEED TO BRING A SUITCASE?
We recommend traveling with whatever is most comfortable for you. That said, it is essential to bring a carry-on bag for a brief one-night excursion within the trip: one large bag and one small bag.
DO I HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE FOR THIS TRIP?
One of the main reasons for this trip is the Pan Long Trail, but if you're not used to these distances there are 5, 10, 21 and 42 km options to challenge yourself at your own level. If running is not for you, you can come as a companion or simply walk on the Great Wall.
WHAT IF THE PROGRAM CHANGES?
We will only make changes if there is a force majeure reason that justifies it, whether it's the weather or any factor that affects the well-being and health of the group. In that case, we will carry out similar activities, so it won't significantly affect the overall program.
CAN I USE MY PHONE NORMALLY?
We recommend downloading a VPN before the trip to access websites that are blocked in China such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps, etc. We also recommend purchasing an e-SIM before the trip to browse freely; otherwise, you can buy one upon arrival in China. We are available to help you with this.
HOW TO BOOK THE TRIP?
You can contact us by email or WhatsApp and we will send you a bank account where you must deposit 800 euros to book.
IF I CAN'T GO, DO I GET MY MONEY BACK?
No. When making the reservation you commit to attending the trip. If you can't make it, we will look for individual solutions. The 800 euros to confirm your reservation is non-refundable as it will be used to purchase internal flights.
WHERE DOES THE TRIP START AND END?
The trip starts and ends in Beijing. We recommend arriving on October 13th before noon and booking your return flight from October 18th.
DO I NEED A VISA TO ENTER CHINA?
The visa to enter China depends on each country. You can check at https://ivisatravel.com/ whether you need a visa with your passport. We are available to help you with the visa process. Argentinians and Europeans do not need a visa to enter China.
